First off, let me say a big THANK YOU because if you're reading this, it probably means you have purchased a JACODA MUSIC song and/or CD and I appreciate the choice you've made.  
I just want you to know that this song/CD you're listening to or  holding in your hands is the culmination of much time, effort, energy, talent, money and, most importantly, creative imagination. It is the fulfillment of a dream I've had since I was a young person - the dream of having a record/music publishing company where artists could enjoy the true benefits and satisfaction of having their dreams fulfilled on THEIR terms.  

No man is an island, therefore there are countless people to thank and give respect to. I will start with four without whom I would not exist to tell the stories of victory and triumph. Firstly I thank my Heavenly Father JEHOVAH, secondly his son JESUS, finally my parents Lillie G. and Carl McQuay, Sr., for through their love I am here today.  

Next are my physical brothers and sisters, to and from whom love is constantly given and received. The great bandleader Orlando "Mr. G" Gagliardi, Ms. C. Blumenthal, and Elias Lebron, I can’t thank you enough for your belief in me.  

JACODA RECORDS was a dream conceived in 1987 by myself and two other people to whom I will be forever grateful for coming into my life, Cynthia Elaine Oakes and David Alsbrooks. We three wanted to form a record label where we could create music and lyrics that were so lucid that you not only listened, you could feel it, see it. Thank you both for helping to plant the initial seed.  

In 1995 I met the person who changed my life and was very instrumental in helping "the dream" come to fruition, James D. Forbes, master engineer, master partner, master friend, master human being. James and I spent the four years cultivating the seed. In 1999 JACODA, INC. was formed.  

Fast forward to 2017, when we moved JACODA’s companies to Florida. An accountant by trade, but a budding, promising singer/songwriter/pianist “in the closet” as it were, Ms. Barbara J. Baker came into our lives, into our company, into our musical family and brought with her two degrees, one of them being a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, which turned out to be a perfect qualification for the job title of Secretary/Treasurer. In the almost 3 years she has been with JACODA, she has proved to be a valuable asset to the company behind the scenes as a 3rd Officer of JACODA, as well as in front of the scenes as a solo artist who we will be proudly releasing her first album ever of original material she has written, plus she also has the distinction of introducing legendary 60’s girl group THE GOODIES to JACODA and now musical history is about to be rewritten as THE GOODIES with Original Lead Singer Maryann Gesmundo Regal releases their first album on JACODA RECORDS ever since their last hit single over 5 decades ago!!!!  

We at JACODA RECORDS & ENTERTAINMENT, INC. intend to continue bringing you timeless music from great songwriters like JAYAR MACK and to continue to live "the dream". JAYAR, words can not express how much we appreciate you giving us the opportunity to showcase your colossal talent to the world! You have given us a great launching pad to kick off a long lasting relationship.
